(TSX VENTURE:AZG) (the "Company") announces that the Company has appointed John Mears, currently a director of the Company, as its Vice-President, Operations & Exploration. Mr. Mears was awarded 1,200,000 options to purchase shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.52 for a 5 year term. These options vest over 2 years. An additional 100,000 options were granted to consulting geologists on the same terms today.
